Wallets

Every blockchain account on Jungle 4 (Testnet) can only be controlled by a specific cryptographic key. There are many different ways to store and manage these keys, each with its own trade-offs between security and convenience. Selecting the right wallet solution is an important step in protecting your assets and ensuring you have access to your account when you need it.

This application cannot store your keys and cannot export them. It relies on either your device's secure storage or a 3rd party wallet to manage your accounts and keys.

MetaKeep

MetaKeep is a user-friendly wallet that allows control of a blockchain account using only an email address. Signing in and performing actions will be authorized by using the confirmation codes sent to your email address.

Security: Using this method means that your account is only as secure as your email address. Losing access to your email inbox could result in losing access to your blockchain account (if no recovery method is set up).

Passkey

Passkeys is a technology standard that can be used to securely manage a blockchain account. They can be used to sign in and perform actions after being authorized by either biometrics, a PIN, or a password (based on your device).

Security: A passkey is secured by your device or password manager, making it more difficult for attackers to gain access. However, if you lose access to your device or password manager, you may also lose access to your blockchain account.

Ledger

Ledger is a hardware wallet that stores your keys on an external device, providing an extra layer of security against threats. The device must be connected and every action must be approved using the device's integrated controls.

Security: External hardware wallets are generally considered one of the most secure methods for managing keys. Losing access to the device may result in losing access to your blockchain account, so it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for backup and recovery.

Note: Using a Ledger device requires a compatible web browser such as Google Chrome, Brave, or any other Chromium-based browser.
